In June 2015 tests of a 330 kV cable with a conductor cross 2500 square mm, with a halogen-free sheath, with a semiconducting layer on the sheath from semiconducting halogen-free compound were finished with a success.

Work of the examination board OJSC “Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System”, which positively appreciated conformity of products of a Polish producer of a power cross-linked polyethylene 110 and 220 kV cable with a conductor cross up to 2000 square mm, with a polyethylene sheath of high density HDPE and from halogen-free formula HF (LSOH).

The group of companies “Meridian” has won a tender of building a cable line 110 kV “Krestovskaya-Vasilyeostrovskaya” in St.Petersburg. The customer is OJSC “Lenenergo”. The sum of money of the contract is more than 830 million rubles. The end of works is going to be at the end of 2016.
