IEK Group continues to increase its production capacity. The increased demand for steel products in the Russian IEK® market has necessitated the expansion of production capacity, and in September 2014 in the production of  IEK in the Tula region a new high-tech production line for metal trays was put into effect!

Fraternal peoples of Russia and Serbia have long-standing and strong historical, cultural and spiritual ties. However, the hard times of the nineties and foreign policy events of those years significantly undermined the economic cooperation between the two countries. Panda Power Funds and Siemens Energy Inc. dedicated the Panda Temple Power Project in Temple, Texas. This is the first Flex-Plant in commercial operation in Texas. Siemens Energy supplied the natural-gas-fired Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) in consortium with its partner, Bechtel. The generating station is a Siemens’ Flex-Plant configuration, with a gross installed electrical capacity of 758 megawatts (MW). Flex-Plant combined cycle power plants offer high efficiency and operational flexibility, providing the right solution for balancing renewables. Temple I will be able to supply the power needs of approximately 750,000 homes in the Central and North Texas regions.

17 of september at Palazzo Donini, headquarters of Umbria’s regional government, the President of the Umbria Region, Catiuscia Marini, Enel’s Head of Infrastructure and Networks for Central Italy, Gianluigi Fioriti and the Chairman of local utility ASM Terni, Carlo Ottone, along with other local institutional representatives inaugurated the recharge network for electric vehicles, installed by Enel in 15 historic Umbrian cities. The 15 newly installed recharge facilities add to the 28 already installed facilities in Perugia, 2 facilities installed in Marsciano, in the province of Perugia, and 2 in Passignano, again in the same province. Overall, there are now 47 recharge facilities for electric vehicle installed in Umbria.

Enel Green Power (“EGP”) has begun construction of the new wind farm “Talinay Poniente”, which will be composed of 32 wind turbines for a total installed capacity of 61 MW.

The continued increase in electronic applications in aviation and aerospace industry in addition to the growing demand from aircraft manufactures for enhanced data transmission are a major challenge in cabling systems. Industrial output in Russia slowed down to zero growth year-on-year in August compared to 1.5 percent growth last month, the country's Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported Monday.
