Enel Green Power has connected to the grid “Taltal”, its largest wind farm in Chile, following completion of construction.

Francesco Starace, CEO and General Manager of Enel SpA, signed a framework agreement with Mr. Shi Lirong, CEO of ZTE Corporation, a leading Chinese telecommunications equipment and systems company. This agreement will kick-start cooperation between the two groups in the areas of electric mobility, smart grids and renewable generation.

 The first phase of an electrical transmission line upgrade is completed in Siberia. The composite-cored cable helped to increase the capacity of an existing 110kV transmission line.

Russian government decided to allocate the Fund Industry Development at least 16 billion rubles in 2014. This figure may be increased subject to possible adjustments to the annual budget. The draft budget for 2015-2017 years assumed financing fund has almost 18 billion rubles. In general, before the end of 2018, the amount allocated to the new development institutions could reach 70 billion rubles. This was announced by Minister of Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov at the III Moscow International Forum of Innovative Development "Open Innovation".

Holding "Roselektronika" of State Corporation "Rostec" started negotiations on cooperation with Chinese corporation Aerospace Science and Technology (CASC). During the first round of negotiations the parties have identified areas of mutual interest: the development and manufacture of electronic components and telecommunications equipment.

The volume of Industry Development Fund  - created to make loans to enterprises -  may reach 15-20 billion rubles per year. This was announced at the 48th Conference of the International Steel Association (World Steel) by head of Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov.

JSC "Rosseti" and CJSC "Teplocom" Holding signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of energy efficient innovative technologies based on domestic developments in the enterprises of the electric grid complex of Russia. The agreement was signed at the first International Forum electricity RUGRIDS-ELECTRO, which takes place in Moscow from 15 to 17 October, and was organized by the "Rossetti". Planned investments in infrastructure modernization of Russia's largest energy company and the world will be 15 billion over five years. The agreement covers the objects located in the Southern, North-Western, Siberian and Urals Federal District.

In early October 2014 Russia took part in the European Championships of working professions Euroskills 2014 held in the French city of Lille. One of the disciplines in which the Russian national team has become is the competence "Electrical installation". To perform the task, a competitive Russian participant chose a domestic installation tool brand IEK.
