Special issue of the Russian power industry enjoys great popularity at the 4-th INT'L SMART GRID EXPO – 2014

Today one of the largest international exhibitions for "smart grid" equipment, the 4th International Exhibition for the development of intelligent networks (4th INT’L SMART GRID EXPO – 2014) was launched.

More than 1 500 exhibitors from more than thirty countries presented their expositions. On the first day of the exhibition it was attended by over thirty thousand people.

“ELECTRIC POWER. Transmission and Distribution” magazine is the only Russian media presented at the exhibition and it is also the official media partner of the 4-th INT’L SMART GRID EXPO – 2014 exhibition.

Traditionally, especially for coverage of global events the editorial staff is preparing a special English issue to be distributed among the guests and participants. On Smart Grid Expo - 2014 the special issue was targeted to organize exchange of experience between Russian power grid companies, software companies, equipment manufacturers and foreign counterparts in the field of building intelligent networks. It was delivered to all information counters and the magazine booth as well.

According to visitors’ opinion the information provided by the special issue promotes the formation among foreign colleagues a full and correct understanding of the basic directions of development of intelligent networks in Russia and will be useful in the development of uniform global standards and approaches in this direction.
