An import substitutional plant of more than 1 billion rubles will start working in “Alabuga”

An expert council of the Fund of the development of industry (FDI) of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Minpromtorg) of the RF approved of a loan of 500 million rubles on easy terms for realization of the first import substitutional project in the Republic of Tatarstan. It is all about production of a new generation of professional electric instruments in the special economic zone “Alabuga”.

As the press-service of the special economic zone says, the project of the company “Interskol” provides for creation of the second turn of the plant in output of heavy perforators, building mixers, screwdrivers, mills and mitre saws. The new platform will ensure of about 40 % of import substitution in the most claimed group of electric instruments, as the producer noticed. Start of a new line of products will allow to substitute some part of European, Japanese and American suppliers, kazanfirst.ru says.

During realization of the project 142 of high-productive working places will be created. The company is going to invest 934,4 million rubles into the project. The loan of the FDI will make out 500 million rubles. The total sum of the project is 962 million rubles.
