A new product for the oil and gas industry from “SSTenergomontazh”- thermal shielding diaphragms Reform

The engineering company “SSTelergomontazh”, which is in the group of companies “SST”, has supplemented a line of decisions for enterprises of the oil and gas industry with a new product- thermal shielding diaphragms Reform.

The engineering company “SSTenergomontazh” (it is in the group of companies “Special Systems and Technologies”), has begun deliveries of its new elaboration- thermal shielding diaphragms Reform for the increase of quality of systems of thermal insulation, anti corrosive surfacing, solution of special tasks in the field of thermal insulation.

The new product will add the line of products and solutions of “SSTenergomontazh” for electric heating and thermal insulation of pipe-lines, reservoirs and technological equipment of enterprises in the oil and gas industry.

Thermal shielding diaphragms Reform are produced on the basis of polymeric variance with a high content of hollow ceramic microballons. The product is traced onto pipe-lines and equipment by spraying. After hardening it forms surfacing of a membranous type full of hollow isolated particles. Diaphragms Reform are easily traced in remote places, do not require stop of technological equipment, they are available for visual control and are classified as a class of ecologically clean materials.

In a layer 2-4 mm thick diaphragms Reform can reduce density of thermal streams, displace the dew point efficiently in the side of increase, reflect ultraviolet radiation. These characteristics allow the material to become an efficient barrier between heat and coldness.

Thermal shielding diaphragms are used as extra protection for equipment from corrosion and also as the material which increases characteristics of thermal insulated systems. In anti corrosion systems diaphragms Reform minimize contact of the environment with anti corrosion surfacing at the expense of water-repellent characteristics. By displacing the dew point, diaphragms Reform forestall appearance of condensate and at the expense of their resilience they soften possible mechanical damages of anti corrosion surfacing.

In systems of thermal insulation thermal shielding diaphragms Reform take on the role of the first contact layer, which discards “thermal shock” (a cyclic temperature drop, peak heat load) from the top layers of insulation, preventing their damage and loss of thermal insulated characteristics.

The new product of “SSTenergomontazh” is much more efficient when it is traced onto packs and equipment, which are damaged with corrosion under thermal insulation: pipe-lines, containers, heat exchangers, reservoirs, steam conduits, slide-valves, valves.
