Russian President Vladimir Putin said about perspectives of development of Russian economy at PIEF 2015

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin told about present situation in Russian economy and future perspectives at a plenary session “Time to act: with joint efforts to stability and growth” within the bounds of St Petersburg International Economy Forum-2015.
Putin reminded that the average cost of oil the mark Urals has fallen from 107,9 dollars a barrel in 2013 to 56 dollars in 2015. According to the valuing of Russian Federal Statistics Service (Rosstat) in the first quarter of 2015 Gross Domestic Product has been reduced to 2,2 % to the corresponding period in 2014. The industrial manufacture was reduced to 1,5 % in January- February. Despite that, according to the words of the head of the country, the accepted antirecessionary actions have worked and we can move up to system development. Now the task is to provide steady growth, increase of economy efficiency, labor productivity, increase of investments, improvement of business climate, staff preparations for economy and management of the country.
“Our position lies in creation of maximum free, predictable, favourable conditions and opportunities for investors in order to invest in Russia more profitable, - Vladimir Putin said. - Only for the last year more than 60 enterprises with foreign participation have started their practical activity.”
At the same time the formed situation has demonstrated necessity of realization of the import substitution program. The President explained that its essence is to learn to produce qualitative, competitive products which are claimed not only in Russia but at world markets. According to his valuing there is great potential in this direction, especially in petrochemistry. According to Vladimir Putin's words active collaboration of Russia with countries of Asian-Pacific region doesn't mean reduce of activity in work with traditional west countries: “I want to emphasize that active cooperation with new centers of global growth doesn't mean that we intend to be disposed to the dialogue with our traditional west partners with less attention”.
The Head of Russia emphasized that there was not a deep economic crisis in Russia, the country copes with current trials confidently: “We have stabilized the situation, damped negative fluctuations of conjuncture and pass through difficulties with confidence. First of all it's because Russian economy has saved up a sufficient reserve of inner strength”.
While commenting a recently signed Memorandum of mutual understanding between JSC “Gazprom” and Argentinian national oil and gas company YPF, Vladimir Putin said that Russian-Argentinian collaboration in the oil and gas field has been discussed with Argentinian President Christina Fernandez de Kirchner not once: “I'm glad that in this field there are concrete understandings between leading Russian and Argentinian companies. The unification of efforts with “Gazprom”, one of the leading world companies, can give very good results.
