Russia and China are going to sell SSJ 100 jointly

Representatives of Russia and China signed an agreement on the establishment of a leasing company, which will implement the new Russian regional jet of a new generation called SSJ 100  in Asia. For three years it is planned to sell  about 100 jets in China and other countries with a total sum of about $ 3 billion.

The participants of the agreement were the Russian-Chinese Investment Fund (RCIF), JSC "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft", JSC "United Aircraft Corporation" (UAC), the Management Committee of New Xixiang region of China  and Chinese leasing company New Century International Leasing (NCILC ). The joint venture will be based on the territory of the Russian-Chinese industrial park in the  Xixiang city.

"Russian-Chinese leasing company will be a good basis for expanding our cooperation in the field of civil aviation industry both in China and in the region as a whole. - the Minister of Industry and Trade in Russia Denis Manturov claimed. - Sales in China will be the driving force in the promotion of SSJ 100 market around the world and it will contribute significantly to the implementation of plans to increase bilateral trade to $ 200 billion by 2020 "

According to the analysts, the emergence of the Russian aircraft in China will take place simultaneously with the sharp increase in the number of private companies and low-cost airlines in this country. This segment  will be the step towards all the country's air transport market, and this is where the Russian plane may be the most popular. In the United Aircraft Corporation, which includes SSJ 100manufacturer , the company "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" pointed out that taking into account the given high economic performance of the aircraft and favorable leasing cost, it will be 15-20% lower ownership for airlines is  than competitors' ones.

SSJ 100 is different from the competitors ones in a class of 100-chair aircraft with mass, more spacious interior and low fuel consumption.
