"TATKABEL" audited production of Borealis cable compounds

In February 2015 a delegation of the "TATKABEL" plant audited production of cable compounds and quality control system in Borealis in Stenungsund, Sweden.

The audit was held together with representatives of the Borealis firm:
• Technical director of "Energy and Infrastructure" Hans Mårtensson;
• Quality Director of «Wires and cables" Jonas Eklund;
• engineer direction of "High voltage insulation" Ingela Vastegard
• Engineer, responsible for the production Adelverer Marcus, as well as representatives from Borealis in Russia.

As part of the audit representatives of the "TATKABEL" plant visited the industrial complex of the Borealis Company, factory laboratory, got acquainted with the quality control of semi-finished product at each stage of production monitoring and control system. Then representatives visited the plant research center that hosts its own pilot production.

The result of the inspection audit showed confirmation that the quality system at the Borealis plant in Stenungsund is built and maintained at the highest level. The company has so sensitive research and monitoring equipment, the level of sensitivity is far ahead of those requirements that apply to the purity and insulation systems, as well as the opportunities that now provide the technology of production of these systems.

During the audit, representatives of the plant once again convinced that the quality of the cable compounds from Borealis meets all the requirements for materials used in the manufacture of cable production "TATKABEL."
