Tambov region and "Siemens" agreed on cooperation

In December 2014 during the meeting of the Head of Administration of the Tambov region Oleg Betina and President of the company "Siemens" in Russia Dietrich Muller signed an agreement on cooperation between the region and the concern.

The document provides the possibility of experts "Siemens" analysis of urban and regional distribution networks 0.4-10 kV of the Tambov region. According to the results of the experts it will be able to develop proposals to modernize the electric grid in order to increase its reliability. Among the priorities as a comprehensive reconstruction of contact network and traction substations for electric vehicles in Tambov using energy-efficient technologies. The partners plan to start cooperation for the implementation of solutions in the field of automation.

We are talking about the introduction of the automated process control system (PCS) in industrial enterprises, data network PCS for various purposes, installation of instrumentation and automation (I) and equipment to optimize the allocation and use of electricity. In addition, the agreement is aimed at cooperation in the field of research and development, the solution of applied problems and launch innovative projects in the following areas: energy, environmental protection, industrial automation and control, health. The document also provides for cooperation in the training of professional personnel in the field energy projects shipments of equipment that will be determined in a separate agreement.
