JSC "Sibkabel" won the IRIS certificate

The decision to issue a certificate was made on the basis of the certification audit enterprise management system in compliance with the International Railway Industry Standard IRIS. The audit was conducted in April of this year by auditors of Certification Association "Russian Register".

"The introduction of the IRIS standard in our factory began in 2013," - the director of "Sibcable" Sergei Markelov says, - "We have been involved in the development of this project due to the fact that the multinational company" Russian Railways "adopted policies in the field of strategic quality management products for their own use, under which since 2015 companies certified by the IRIS will receive priority in the procurement. Frankly speaking, such loads sometimes was not easy, but the experience in the implementation of the integrated management system and lean manufacturing has helped the team to successfully deal with such an important task, "- Sergey Markelov says.

A supply marketable product for Railways Company is one of the strategic directions of JSC "Sibcable": the plant produces a group of cable and wire products for rail rolling stock. According to Sergei Markelov JSC "Sibcable" became the first holder of the certificate IRIS in Russia among cable factories. Its duration is three years.
