In Russia the first International Innovation Research and Education Center on Energy Efficiency competencies starts. One of the founders of the Centre made the Russian subsidiary of the international chemical and pharmaceutical group Bayer. The center will work with the support of the State Duma Committee on Energy, and the largest companies in the field of energy efficiency experts: Schneider Electric, Uponor, Stiebel Eltron , etc.
The main objectives of the Energy Center will be the creation and implementation of innovative energy efficiency policies , as well as the creation of an effective tool for the calculation and optimization of engineering projects in the field of energy-efficient technologies . The project will help address one of the priorities of the state policy - the development of energy saving and energy efficiency of various sectors of the national economy.
The first phase of the project was the launch of the Energy Center is unique for Russia 's course on energy efficiency at the Russian State Technological University . Tsiolkovsky ( MATI ) . As part of the course, students will be able to get a wide range of knowledge and skills from the representatives of the professional and business community. Currently already being trained by the master's program . Future plans - preparation of specialized training in energy management and energy services , the launch of the Bachelor program in the fall of 2014.
