Today the company has received an official certificate (certifying registration of a person as a resident of a special economic zone on 29.01.2014 , the ) . ABB will invest about $ 20 million in the construction of the SEZ plant for the production of cabinets for low-voltage switchgear and components.

Lipetsk production will meet the strict requirements of international concern for the safety, efficacy and quality control of products.

The project will be the sixth production in Russia and the first plant built "from scratch" .
