"Siemens" intends to cooperate with the Kazan energy University

Nowadays the German company signed a cooperation agreement with the Kazan State Energy Engineering University under the leadership of the visit of "Siemens" in the Republic of Tatarstan, (KGEU). This document was signed by Rector Edward Abdullazyanov and the President of the "Siemens" in Russia Dietrich Meller. The ceremony was held in the presence of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The parties plan to collaborate on innovative projects in the fields of energy, infrastructure, industrial automation, health and environmental protection. According to the document "Siemens" company intends to pursue a university-based applied research and development.
The agreements will significantly expand opportunities for the exchange of new knowledge and technologies. One of the priorities is the creation of joint laboratories and research and education centers. The agreement also provides the training of teachers and students of one of the leading energy companies in the Russian universities and affiliated "Siemens" companies and allows to take part in international academic competitions organized with the assistance of the concern.
