The company Ventyx – a unit of ABB Power Systems in Russia - held an exclusive seminar "The Future of Smart Grid” in Moscow.
The seminar was opened by the President of ABB in Russia Anatoly Popov , who was describing the trends in the global and Russian energy and achievements of ABB as a leader in innovative designs . The Director General of Ventyx Jeff Ray spoke on «Reliable energy today is an updated humanity tomorrow " , describing the strategy of industry solutions of Ventyx, outlined the main directions in the development of Ventyx solutions for intelligent networks.

Anna Bogatskaya , a VaasaETT company spokesman ( a leading international research center in the field of energy ) presented an analytical report about the importance of smart grid -the first -ever global study on the results of the implementation of smart grid projects . The report detailed how companies around the world have achieved the best results, and returned their investments in projects to create intelligent networks , and how Russian power companies can achieve the same results .

Rick Nicholson, the vice president of transmission and distribution in Ventyx company, an ABB Company, spoke about ABB and Ventyx solutions for intelligent networks , the company's plans for the development of Ventyx solutions using the Asset Health.

The seminar was attended by executives and leading specialists of the Russian grid and generating companies , MOESK , HST , RusHydro, Rossetti , Inter RAO , IDCs , DVUEK etc. Lectures aroused great interest among the participants of the workshop , the most interesting energy issues concerning the development of smart grids in Russia became the part of the seminar. The survey of workshop was highly appreciated by the participants and they wish to further develop the theme of intelligent networks and applications solutions ABB and Ventyx.
