French companies AREVA Рё Electricite de France highly appreciated the cooperation with ECP

From 28 to 30 August JSC"Rosatom" Electrochemical Factory "(included in the control under Fuel Company of Rosatom TVEL") was visited by the French company AREVA and Electricite de France (EDF), as well as by the representatives of" TENEX ".

The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system of "" Electrochemical Factory "in accordance with French regulations on 9 June 2011 and the ISO 9001 version 2008 relating the supply of uranium hexafluoride (UF6). And also to check the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions based on the results of previous audits.

Working visit took place within the frames of agreements on long-term contract of 29 December 2005, signed by the JSC "TENEX" with the energy company EDF, for the supply of enriched uranium for nuclear power factories in France. This contract provides a systematic audit of Russian enrichment facilities by French experts, the last visit was in Zelenogorsk in 2010.

The analysis of the last certification report, resource management and marketing lasted 3 days. The guests visited the storage site of the uranium product, checked the production processes and maintenance. In particular, the process of receiving / shipping containers 30B was held, including the pumping, filling and weighing containers. Special attention was paid to safety culture and the professional level of our specialists. The French nuclear specialists also visited a chemical analytical laboratory and a laboratory of radiochemical analysis, checked the methods of analysis and the compliance with international standards, the quality of documents.

On the last day the organizational matters relating management of the equipment for monitoring and measuring the procurement were discussed, control matters, and various areas within the criteria of ISO 9001.

At the final meeting on August 30 the head of the delegation, the representative of the quality of AREVA Vincenzo Regoli noted that the process of analysis and shipment of products for the French nuclear power fabric, operated under contract, meets all the necessary requirements. According to the classification adopted for the results of the audit by the French, "major and minor" inconsistencies were found. On the positive side, the guests noted the system of education and training on the electrochemical plant, the control system of measuring instruments, especially the weight equipment, as well as the quality of the translation of key documents QMS into English.

The contracts manager of EDF Jacques Roussel stressed that long-term cooperation with the ECP is the most open and efficient. In all the years of thirty partnership, there was no a single complaint and serious remarks to the products ECP. This is the main criterion of the highest quality and evaluation of "" Electrochemical Plant "foreign consumers. Representatives of the French side expressed interest in further cooperation with the ECP.
