A register of intellectual property RUSNANO has been created

The Intellectual Property Registry "RUSNANO" has been introduced in RUSNANO and project companies. The registry is a database of information on the results of intellectual activity, exclusive license or right to use, which RUSNANO owns or its portfolio companies. The registry contains a description of the results of intellectual activity, including their type, time period and the area of action, as well as market value. The objectives of the Register are the information systematization on intellectual property, their record keeping, storage and creation of a single information base for the analysis and protection technologies used by portfolio RUSNANO companies.

In 2009 the board of GC "Nanotechnologies" approved the concept for the management and protection of intellectual property. The concept defines the basic policy regarding the rights of intellectual property, objectives, principles for the distribution of these rights and mechanisms for their protection. In 2010 the Commission was established by order of the intellectual property.

In December 2012 RUSNANO has begun development and the formation of a unified database to record all intellectual property portfolio companies. Russia's Audit Chamber the Register also noted the need for maintaining during the audit RUSNANO in 2013.
