"RUSNANO" will invest up to 50 million rubles (1.5 million $) in the production of aspheric optics

JSC “Rosnano” will invest up to 50 million rubles in the investment project of aspheric optic production, which can be applied in satellite observing systems. This decision was taken by the Board of Directors, as “Rosnano” said.

The decision of the Board of Directors was taken due to the failure of the agreement by co-investor of the project, as well as the need to expand the range of products.

“The investments will be aimed at the expanding of the existing interferometer production, which are used for measurement and control for optic elements quality,  for development of high-precision machine tools manufacturing units and aspheric optics with the largest Russian enterprises, as i-russia notes.

The project of aspheric optics production in 2008 became the first investment project, accepted by state corporation “Rosnanoteh”.
