Russia and South Korea are preparing 17 cooperation projects in the field of nuclear

17 cooperation projects are being prepared in the field of peaceful nuclear  by representatives of Russia and South Korea.

Discussion of these programs, as well as other aspects of cooperation in this field started on August 19 in Moscow at a meeting of the bilateral commission profile. The meeting will last two days, reports i-russia.ru.

Russia is represented by employees of the company "Rosatom" and South Korea by the delegation of the Ministry of Innovation and Science.

As South Korean media reports, referring to the statement of the ministry, two sides are currently working on 17 projects, including programs for processing nuclear fuel, radiation safety, nuclear fusion, creation of a joint research center of radiation and others. It is expected that cooperation in this field will be given a new impulse in the bilateral summit held in St. Petersburg at the beginning of September this year.
