The meeting devoted to perspectives of grid development in the region was held on 19 August in Chita under guide of the Acting Governor of the Trans-Baikal region Constantine Ilkovsky and General Director of "Rosseti" Oleg Budargin.
Beginning the meeting, the head of Zabailie noted that it is impossible to improve other branches of the economy industry without energy infrastructure, building of new lines of electricity transfer, strengthening the given lines. Zabaikalie government has ambitious plans to realize a range of investment projects. There are GOK constructions in the east of the region, the development of Apsatski and Katuginsky fields, Kharanorskaya HPP power capacity increase, the further development of BAM, Transsib and associated infrastructure. As experts say, power supply of the region will increase twice than 1200 MW. Moreover, special attention should be paid to the existing networks in the Trans-Baikal network.
In the result of the meeting a range of agreements were discussed. “We are planning to approve the project of power supply development by the 1 October. This cooperation has a great value for us and Zabaikalie. Serious development and restructuring of the transmission and distribution networks are needed; they should be more reliable, it is also important to minimize dead-end schemes. The format of public-private partnership should be used to work on large infrastructure projects ", - said Budargin.
The initiative of renovation base creation of “Rosseti” in Zabaikalie was discussed. The same projects are realized in The North Caucasus and Kemerovo region. “The unified renovation base foe East Siberia and Far East must be located in Zabaikalie region. This will give an additional impulse to adjacent industries development, due to concentration and reduce of transportation shoulders the region will get competitive advantages”- Oleg Budargin noticed.
In his turn, Constantine Ilkovsky noticed that the reached agreements will give impulse to a wide range of problems solutions, and the good example of state-private partnership is Bistrinsky GOK power supply. “We got the approve that the project goes on, a competition of contractor is announced, no failures on terms due to energy are not planned. Moreover the questions of private character are not less important. For example, the power supply of Tungokochensky region, that had been supported by state and regional powers quite for a long time” – Constantine Ilkovsky said.
