Tomsk Cable Plant will be the first beyond Ural to produce high-voltage cable

Tomsk Cable Plant will start a new warehouse of release of high-voltage cables in 2016. In a year they plan to begin to sell products of an only one production beyond Ural. Deputy general director of the development of the enterprise Aleksey Saushkin said about that.

“We are going to start a new warehouse in 2016, it will allow to increase production capacity of the enterprise on 70 % and to develop the production of high-voltage cables. Beyond Ural we will be the only producer of such products. It it import substitution and at the same time it is reduce of monopoly loading at the market”, Saushkin said, Russian News Agency TASS informed.

According to his words, in Russia only 3 or 4 plants produce high-voltage cables. Tomskcable hopes to start sells of a new kind of the products in 2017. Today engineer communications are being extended, next year wiring of the equipment will start. The total volume of investments for the start of the warehouse is about 1,5 billion rubles.

Tomsk Cable Plant was founded in 2000. It is one of the six leading cable enterprises in Russia out of 250. The annual turnover in 2015 is expected to be at the level of 5 billion rubles.

Such kinds of cables are produced by the following enterprises: Sevcable, Kirskcable, Electrocable, Kamcable, REK, Estralin.
