Enel Green Power S.p.A. (“Enel Green Power”), through its subsidiary Enel Green Power North America, Inc. (“EGP-NA”), has completed and connected to the grid the Osage Wind farm located in Osage County, Oklahoma.

The new plant has a total installed capacity of 150 MW and is owned by Osage Wind, LLC, 50% owned by EGP-NA. The wind farm will generate more than 620 GWh of electricity a year, equivalent to the annual energy consumption needs of more than 53,000 U.S. households, while avoiding the emission of about 300,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.

The entry into operation of the Osage Wind farm further confirms Enel Green Power’s commitment to its continued growth in the U.S. renewable market, particularly in Oklahoma where EGP-NA already operates the 235 MW Chisholm View wind farm, the 150 MW Rocky Ridge wind farm and the 150 MW Origin wind farm. The company also has two additional wind projects currently under construction in Oklahoma for a total additional capacity of 274 MW expected to be online by the end of 2015.
